Dr. DiMeglioLinda A. DiMeglio, MD, MPH

Dr. DiMeglio is a pediatric endocrinologist who has been actively involved in clinical research for many years and received career development awards from both the NIH and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Her diabetes research has focused on exploring uses and effects of insulin pump therapy and other new diabetes technologies. She also has examined effects of diabetes on endothelial progenitor cell function and vascular reactivity. She works with a variety of investigators on clinical and translational research projects in diabetes, metabolic bone disease, and other areas within pediatrics. Since 1999 she has been the medical director for the American Diabetes Association Indiana summer camp for children with diabetes.

A native of Wisconsin, Dr. DiMeglio graduated with honors from Harvard College and then attended the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. She completed her residency at Northwestern University, and then did her fellowship and MPH training at Indiana University.


Dr. DiMeglio is a member of several professional societies, including the Pediatric Endocrine Society, Society for Pediatric Research, the Endocrine Society, and the American Diabetes Association. She has served as the President of the Indianapolis American Diabetes Association Leadership Board and received their Outstanding Volunteer Service Award. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology. She has been named to the national “Best Doctors” list as well as named one of the “Top Doctors” in the Indianapolis Area by Indianapolis Monthly magazine.
